Duration is the period over which the work is scheduled. The amount of work will then be scheduled through the duration.

So for example you could have 10 days work over a duration of 2 weeks which will schedule 5 days per week.

You can also move when the work is scheduled for.

Here are the ways you can extend or reduce the duration.

If the work is using sprint dates, you cannot change the schedule of the assignment directly. Instead you change the schedule of the sprint. Read more.

Move the schedule bar

Grab either the start or the end of the schedule bar and drag it to extend or shorten the assignment.

Drag mode

When you drag a bar end to extend or shorten an assignment you can choose if Kelloo will:

  • Adjust the total work. The amount of work scheduled each week will remain the same, the total work will adjust.

  • Stretch the work. The total work will remain the same and the amount of work scheduled each week will adjust.

You control what happens when you extend or shorten an assignment using the drag mode settings.

Set the duration in the work details panel

You can also adjust the duration directly in the work details panel.

If the work is split into segments or is set to use sprint dates then you cannot adjust the duration in the work details panel.
