When you move work below the cut off line Kelloo will exclude the work from the portfolio for planning purposes.
Note: This article refers to projects. Depending on your configuration, you may see alternate terminology used in your environment.
A typical use case for moving work below the cut off line is to model stopping / excluding some of a project's work.
You can move some of a project's work below the cut off line while leaving some above the cut off line. Whereas excluding a project excludes all the project's work. |
Here is a summary of the effect of moving work below the line.
Planner
The work is excluded from allocation and utilization calculations.
Work moved below the cut off line is not displayed in resource or project view, only in priority view.
Moving work below the cut off line releases any resource capacity that was allocated to the work.
Utilization view(s)
The work is excluded from the utilization heatmap and utilization charts calculations.
Dashboard
The work is excluded from days to date, days remaining, total days calculations.
Labour costs based on the work are excluded.
If the project the work is associated with has a project budget, manually entered labor costs or non labor costs entered, these will still be included in the dashboard data as they are associated with the project itself and not with the work.

Reports do not include work below the cut off. Learn more.
